How to Produce Insecticide in Nigeria

Insecticide is used to kill insects such as mosquitoes, house – flies, cockroaches, ants etc. and many people are not able to afford the modernized type of insecticides which are very expensive but are not really effective. You can make money producing your own insecticide in addition to other things and if you do it well, people will keep coming back. So, below is a step by step guide on how to produce insecticide at home.

 

Chemicals:

  1. D. D. Force
  2. Industrial camphor
  3. Kerosene
  4. Formalin

Composition

To prepare 1ltr of insecticide you will need:

  1. 75cl of kerosene
  2. ½ kg of industrial camphor
  3. Formalin
  4. D.D. Force 25 cl (Medium)

Preparation

  1. Put 75cl of kerosene into a bottle
  2. Add DD force
  3. Add industrial camphor
  4. Add formalin and mix together and it’s ready for use.

      You can use 10cl of formalin for the quantity of kerosene and DD force I mentioned in my post.

    Sorry for the bother and thanks for the fast response. But you said the formula is for 2ltrs and from my calculation it give jst a little bit above 1ltre.
    75cl kero + 25cl DD force + 10cl formalin =110cl which is 1.10ltres and think the camphor can disolve into 80cl to give the required 2ltrs or do you mean to write 1ltr please clarify.

      Now about your question, It was a mistake. It’s 1 litre and not 2 litres.
